What is FST?

Fascial stretch therapy (FST) is a pain-free approach to alleviating the underlying causes of pain and discomfort, caused by a muscular imbalance or physical trauma. Our goal is to address these issues and restore proper movement function, while effectively eliminating any mitigating pain the client may experience.

During a session, we will work within the neuromyofascial nets to manipulate the soft tissue and fascial adhesions that can cause distress.  This is accomplished through a variance of assisted stretching techniques (AIS/MPNF) and targeted stabilization exercises. Each movement sequence is catered specifically to an individual's needs and can vary from session to session. Sessions can range from a basic restorative treatment to a more advanced approach, aimed at rehabilitation, and/or sport specific prehab.

Fascial stretch therapy (FST) is appropriate for most individuals, although those suffering from serious trauma may be required to consult a physician/registered physiotherapist beforehand, to ensure FST is the preferred option for your current needs.
